PNG Forest Products Ltd (PNGFP) has developed into an industry leader and an invaluable player in the building of a better Papua New Guinea.
By identifying needs, maximising resources and opportunities the company has evolved from its beginnings in alluvial gold dredging in the 1920's
to a fully integrated timber and plywood processing establishment.
Over 70 years of progress has culminated in the formation of Klinkii plywood and PNGFP Building Systems and a seamless supply of materials
and expertise from plantation to our end products.

We are extremely proud of our commitment to utilising renewable plantation pine, restocked from the extensive nursery and regrowth program in Bulolo.
Based in Bulolo, PNGFP employs over 1000 workers and has the ability to produce plywood and sawn timber in impressive volume to suit client requirements.
PNG is our home. Remoteness, climate and other environmental issues have been and are constantly addressed and solved.

Plywood & Timber Products ...
PNG Forest Products manufactures as part of its product range, CCA pressure treated plantation pine timber and in 2006/2007 will introduce ACQ
treated products. Pine timber is treated by the vacuum/pressure impregnation process according to its utilisation class.
Our sawn and round timber is randomly and rigorously tested by Osmose Ltd in Australia and the Timber Training Institute in Lae to ensure compliance with Papua New Guinea building standards.
